According to a study done at the University of Oxford Business School they do.

In a six-month study of 1800 call center workers, the study found that happy employees not only made more calls per hour, but also achieved 13% higher sales than their unhappy counterparts.

Not only does happiness make people, em, happy, it can be of great benefit to your pocketbook and your business!

It’s easy to think that pounding the drum, demanding perfection, intimidating people into producing more can work. Maybe it can on an extremely short-term basis. Maybe.
